Have You Ever Wondered What You Can Do To Nurture The Musical Growth Of Your Child,
Regardless Of Your Own Musical Ability?
Experience Music Together® and find out how important--and how fun--your role can be!
Our RESEARCH-BASED, Music Together curriculum builds on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. We'll help you provide your child with the basic musical skills needed to enjoy school and social musical activities, and to study an instrument should he or she choose to do so.
All children are special, and we welcome children with special needs! Since our classes have children of mixed ages, each child, no matter where they are developmentally, fits in. It is so nice for ALL children and grownups to be able to participate in our classes and feel great about themselves in the process!
MUSIC TOGETHER IS...
*Infants/Toddlers/Preschoolers
*Parent-child classes with parent education
*Music learned through playful activities in mixed-age classes
*Developmentally appropriate and research-based curriculum
INFORMAL INSTRUCTION
A Music Together class is not a 'music lesson'. Children are given the freedom to participate as they choose and according to their developmental level. The class experience is reinforced by parent involvement, encouraging continued learning at home through play.
MIXED AGES (birth to five)
Educators have long considered mixed-age grouping to be beneficial. Our activities focus on adult/child interaction, so children of different ages can enjoy classes together. (A sibling discount is available to encourage full family involvement).
POSITIVE BENEFITS
Music Together classes nourish a family's efforts to create a rich and joyful musical environment at home. Parents will bring new understanding to support their child's lifelong love of music.
The program encourages your child's innate ability to sing in tune, create rhythms, and participate in music making with joy and confidence. The parent or caregiver's participation, regardless of musical background, is the inspiration for children to develop musically.
